Back to Normal May

Now let's get on with this summer vacation! First off, the very exciting opening day of Burkitt Place pool! Finn was so happy to be floating around in his floaties.

First pool treat of the day was the Kona sno cone truck pulling up for free sno cones! After that Gus' Fried Chicken had hot yummy chicken for everyone and right as we were finishing that scrumptious food the Bruster's ice cream truck came! Love summer at the pool.

The boys were showing off their muscles in their sleeveless shirts. Can matching brothers be any cuter? I think not.

Our OC Children's Ministry does a great job of doing events in the summer to keep the kids together. The first one on the list was preschool at the playground. Finn got to be a part of it this year and he was so excited he swung on the big boy swings by himself!

Leilei and Lulu enjoying their popsicles in 2012 and 2013.
We decided to put the highchair away, Finn was so excited- after seeing his reaction we probably should have made this change earlier. He wanted to to pray and eat just like big brother.

Soccer started winding down. It sure was special to have daddy as a coach. I am thinking we are going to take a break from soccer for a season and maybe try baseball- he loves hitting home-runs in the backyard and the kid can hit- I have lost many dollars worth of tennis balls.

During the games, Finn wanted to play so badly- and honestly he would have fit right in, but I had to keep him off the fields with any bribery trick I had up my sleeve. This 2 minutes we were picking flowers.

How we didn't get the twins on the same team I will never know, but they are so cute wearing their team jerseys.

We make being a soccer mom cool. Especially when we wear team colors.

Lucas had a friend's birthday party to attend and it was so cute to see the school friends run and squeal together, they had definitely missed each other.

Our friend Luke Westerman is a great baseball player and his team was in the championship so we went to watch his games a couple days in a row. Amy caught these photos for me but the first one is especially priceless. Lucas and CallieAnn found each other and were "sharing secrets"

Last day of soccer means trophies!

Looking forward to a summer full of fun with these brothers, they sure do make life joyful.
