Finn and I went to get Lucas up yesterday and Lucas asked if "Mr. Finn" could sleep with him. It was so sweet how they just stared at each other. Lucas said, "momma- there are two brothers in my bed"!
Finn has started smiling--I usually get them when he is waking up, but big brother got an especially sweet, dimpled smile!
I am still trying to figure out the balance between a newborn, a toddler, and the rest of life but one activity I have started is to do an art project on Wednesdays. This gives some special attention time to Lucas and hopefully the creative and imaginative time counteracts at least one of those extra Dora episodes he has been getting to watch!
. . . and here is this week's edition of art: our handprint/fingerprint Christmas tree!
As you may be able to tell, Finn is really growing and gaining--despite that it appears as if he spits up everything he eats. Seriously, I love newborns, but spit up, cradle cap, baby acne, and dermatitis? I'm s over it! Guess its good that he isn't bothered about it.
Back to his growing, he is really filling out and I have a feeling he is bigger at this stage than Lucas was. I had to go get onesie extenders yesterday so that his 0-3 onesies would fit more than just 4 weeks! Might have a basketball player in our future. . .

Kara, you are such a good momma. Artsy Wednesday is a great idea! Those 2 brothers are going to be great buddies growing up, aren't they?
