Big Brother Lucas at 4 Weeks. It seems like just yesterday I took this picture, I remember this "photo shoot" so well, he was not a happy camper and needed the paci to distract him enough for mom to take her picture :)
And here is little brother Finn at 4 weeks modeling the cutest leg warmers I have ever seen. I think I need a pair bit somehow I don't think they will look quite as scrumptious on me.
It is such a blessing to be surrounded by friends in life, and one of the special times to experience with a friend is pregnancy. Holly was my belly buddy all year as I awaited Finn and she awaited twins Isla and Ian. Our due dates were very close, but of course the twins showed up a little early! We had a lunch date and the babies got to hang out together. . . is this not sweetness tripled?!
Oh Lucas, he just cracks me up all day. His newest thing is to sing songs and replace the words to make it funny. For example, "Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder. . . what you had for breakfast", or "Old MacDonald had some cookies". He will sing and then just crack himself up, as we are laughing right along with him.
We decided to make his hair spiky, and he went around all morning talking about his "spicy" hair ;)
The 4th week has been a lot of fun! Umbilical cords came off, newborn diapers were grown out of, Christmas trees put up, brunches and lunches attended, and even a successful trip to Target with both boys!
