Josh and I have noticed a significant change in Lucas. He is growing up so fast and has become so smart. We genuinely love spending time with him.
Each new stage is my favorite. We just fall in love with this guy more and more every day. It isn't that he wasn't fun before, we are just having a blast watching him grow into such a great little boy. We have reached the stage where he can really interact with us, and we are realizing that a lot more is going on in that brain than we realize!
His latest tricks are: saying "light" and "ball" and "bye bye", he waves, "snaps" his fingers, claps, and dances. Our favorite is how he laughs and laughs and laughs. When we go to the pool, he is the little social butterfly, going up to each little kid to wave and give them a toy (what a great sharer he is for an only child!).
Today, Josh took Lucas into the pool and I just had a blast watching them have so much fun together.
Each day I am truly sad when it gets to be bedtime, because it means we can't play with Lucas anymore for the day. What a fun time this is!
