Full Speed Ahead!

I love this picture. Lucas was having a lot of silly moments before lunch, making me laugh as usual. This look makes me think this is what is going through his mind: "Please, God, tell my mom not to feed me peas today. In Jesus name, Amen." Lucas will shut his mouth as soon as he sees a green container. If I were to sneak a bite in, he fake gags. It is hilarious.
We had some little buddies over this week to play, Lucas loves playing with kids. When we opened the door and Lucas saw Dean and Mason, he just started squealing. The kids thought it was more fun to play in the toy drawers than with the toys themselves.
My sweet and skinny string bean is loving to play these days. Especially with his shapes and shape sorter that he got for Christmas. He always has to have one shape in each hand.
One of our many funny faces. This week he has started to learn how to stick his tongue out, it is really cute, but I am nervous for the first time he does it at the wrong moment.....meeting someone new at church for example :)

We went to Gymboree's Play and Music this week and Lucas had so much fun, I might have to get a month membership for the winter to let him have some more fun play. The bubbles they blew in the room fascinated him.
I was amazed, Lucas crawled through the entire tunnel! That is his friend Nathan behind him.
Later that day, we went to Nathan's first birthday party. Nathan is the son of one of Josh's roommates in Nashville who is also a professor at Lipscomb.
Sunny days make life so much sweeter. Today we woke up to birds chirping and some warmer weather. It got up to the low 50s so we decided to get out of the house!
My favorite smile :)
