8 Months Already?!

Once again, we made the long drive up to MI. It really isn't too long, just about 9 hours and the road is so easy, but driving with a little baby makes things a bit longer.

As chance would have it, the very first night we were in MI, Lucas woke up terribly sick and screaming all night long. It ended up being a very long Christmas week for him, we went to the doctor once, and then urgent care on Christmas Eve because he had such a high fever and was incredibly miserable. Sweet thing would just sleep on me all day and whimper. He had a high fever from Wednesday until Sunday when it broke....out into a rash all over his body. That is when it was pin-pointed that he had Roseola. The rash is the last stage so that was a relief!

We celebrated Christmas with the Graves' side first. With so many adults now, we have many families involved because of marriage and it is easier to get together the weekend before Christmas.

Lucas got a wagon! He is really excited to go to the zoo this spring and ride in his wagon :)
I was so excited to see my girls while we were in MI. Of course, great minds think alike, and we all showed up in yellow!
Why would Lucas only have one stocking?!
The best mom in the world and me on Christmas Day.
Family picture with Lucas while he was alert!
He wouldn't stop clapping once he was on his new rocking lion from Grandma Sugar and Grand da.
Grandma Sugar is the best at reading books!
My favorites!!
The best dad in the world and me after we finally finished the Christmas puzzle.
33 Weeks! This was taken a few days late since he was so sick, notice the rash on his face.
I was so excited, after we drove back to TN, my family drove down since my dad was speaking at Lipscomb. This is Megan and I standing in line at the Pancake Pantry.
Trying a lemon...
Not loving it. Hahaha.
Family picture at Opryland Hotel!
The lights there are amazing!
34 Weeks, dressed up just for my Uncle Duncan.
Everyone in their flannel/camo wear!
Lucas loved watching the snow fall, I was super excited to see flurries!!

Josh and Lucas all dressed up to go to a wedding, aren't they so handsome?
35 Weeks, and still the sweetest string bean ever!
Lucas is sooooooo big!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Love it!! Such a handsome dude. And Jer was looking over my shoulder and made a comment about the camo outfit. "That's Awesome" I think were his exact words! Shocker, I know. =]
