Well, I really should get better at updating my blog each Friday, but with two little boys, one of which has dropped their nap for the most part, my hands are busy with too much fun! We will start this Friday with last Friday's weekly photo at 35 weeks.
This was a big week! Finn learned to say hi while waving his hand, crawl on his knees, and he has been eating table food like bananas, bread, watermelon, peaches, and avocado! He loves the pool, kicking around his legs and splashing with his hands the whole time. He has the best giggle to match his deep dimples--and just laughs and laughs whenever
Lucas decides to carry on a conversation with him.
Another new talent of the week is pulling up, Finn is pretty excited about this new discovery, Lucas---not so much ;)
Lucas was trying to be patient, but it was a little hard once Percy was snatched off the tracks.
Both of my boys, both at 8 months old, enjoying the tunnel for the first time. It is fun to see toys loved all over again. It is also fun to see that my boys are two totally different people! I mean, are they even related?
Otter Creek had their monthly preschool playdate at Inside Out this week, what a fun place! It had a treehouse, monkey bars, a bike track with cool bikes, a play area for the babies, so much fun! Princess Leilei and Prince Lulu became experts at climbing up and down the nets.
Why the Princess and Prince titles? Well, at lunch last week, Lucas said, "thank you for lunch princess". I said, "Wow, well, you are most welcome!". Lucas replied, "You need to say you're welcome prince". Well, all right then. I asked him where he learned about princesses and princes and he said, "Leighton and I play, she is the princess and I am the prince."
We had a fun 4 hour swim play day at Addy's grandma's house. It is such a fun pool for the kids, we have come here since the older siblings were all babies. Our AC broke with the house being a lovely 93 degrees, so this pool day was much needed! Here is the swim float club with Brooke, Finn, and Milly:
And presenting the puddle jumper club! I think we might have all the variations represented just in our playgroup alone.
At this pool, there is a fun waterfall feature with rocks over the deep end. Crosby and Lucas were the brave ones to jump over and over again. I think this photo might be my favorite of all time! I just love Mr. Crosby and the flying hug I get whenever I see him with a "Miss Kawa!" I am keeping this photo for their graduation slideshow.
Feeling sentimental, I broke out previous years of photos of our sweet group. My how fast they grow!
My morning greeter, always happy and ready to enjoy the day!
Happy 36 week birthday my sweet Finn!
