Lucas has an announcement. . .

Lucas finally came up with a name for his baby brother:
Finn Rowan Graves

We love the names we chose just because of the sound, but we fell in love with them after learning some of the history behind them:

Finn- the literary genius of Huckleberry Finn, Finn MacCumhail is a legendary Irish hero, Finn comes from Gaelic, Irish, and Finnish roots.

Rowan- As a boy's name this is a transferred use of the surname, which is of Irish origin, being an Anglicized form of the Gaelic byname 'Ruadhan' 'little red one'. It was borne by a 6th century saint who founded the monastery of Lothra, and is the name of the present Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, (he performed the royal wedding) The Rowan tree is a tree that has red berries, you can find it in many European countries including Scotland.

So, there you have it!
