My Smart String Bean

Today was Lucas' much anticipated (at least by me anyway) 15 month doctor appointment. Because he has been sleeping in, I of course knew I would have to wake him up to leave by 9AM. Well, last night we had some storms and our power cut out, which meant his sound machine turned off, which meant he then woke up upset, which meant that once power was on and he went back to sleep, he was sleeping hard!

We had the worst diaper blow out in Lucas Graves history when I woke him up. Without too many details I had to wash everything in his room and give him a nice wake-up shower :)

Since we ran out of time, he had breakfast in the car. Doesn't he look quite pleased about it?
We quickly perked up when we arrived at the doctor's office, he loves the mirror and the noisy paper.
He just heard he had to get shots, not too sure about this momma.
Good news today! Lucas grew! He is still a little guy in the weight department, but our concern was if he would improve at all and he did, so we don't have to be concerned about his weight for now! Poor kid was getting used to standing on the scale every few days. He has a graph of his weight gain and it is so refreshing to see the line go up a little instead of horizontal.

Weight- 22 lbs, 3 oz. (18%)--he was 19.5 at Christmas :)
