Florida!

Well, we arrived safely in Florida on Sunday evening with our good friends Josh and Kayci. We have already enjoyed the much needed rest and laughter.

In honor of the Olympic games occurring right now, we are participating in our own Ross and Graves Olympics games. These games have 1-2 events each day which will all contribute to the final trophy ceremony on Saturday. So far we have done: bowling, putt-putt, Phase 10, and arcade games. Tomorrow is the swim and a chicken fight.

Today we were on the beach for only 5 minutes and it started raining. Then it started pouring. And then lightning and thundering. As we were waiting to see if it would clear up, huddled under our umbrellas, the lifeguard vehicle was driving up and down the beach telling swimmers to get out of the water because of the lightning. He said, over a megaphone, and I quote, "Everyone must be out of the water because of lightning strikes. Lightning can kill you, you know." haha. I died laughing.

Enjoy some pictures:

We forgot both poles for the umbrella on our first day, so Josh had a very short umbrella to read under!

After the games, we decided to do the "Michael Phelps pose" It is hilarious only if you saw the men's relay race on Sunday night, if you didn't, we look completely ridiculous. Ok, we look very ridiculous. The flash took forever to take the picture so we had a hard time keeping our poses without laughing.

Oh yes, it is bowling time. Kayci was awesome at this event! Kara came in last :(
