Ever since I moved to Michigan, I have wanted to go to the Target fireworks in Detroit, but my first problem was that they have always been on Wednesday nights, and I didn't want to miss church for that. This year, they were on a Monday! So...off we went!
A group of us went down and ate at Hockeytown for dinner (it was yummy!) and then we walked down to Woodward to find a spot to watch the show. Here are some pictures (many taken by the very talented Jenny Hoggatt). It was a fun night, filled with a lot of laughs... a lot.

I found your blog by clicking "next blog" at the top of blogger. What great photos these are. We'll be away for the 4th and I'm excited to see the fireworks somewhere else for Independence Day.
